The Role

What you’ll be doing:

You'll tutor up to six children aged 4–16 in one of our vibrant centres, using our innovative Compass learning tool. As a tutor, you’ll:

  • Teach: You will tailor your teaching approach to each child's unique needs, ensuring they achieve consistent progress through delivery of the national curriculum and entrance exam preparation. You'll be the guiding force that helps the children achieve real progress and unlock the joy of learning.
  • Inspire: As a tutor, you will inspire all children to become fearless learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will encourage them to embrace learning with confidence and curiosity. You'll inspire your members and their families, ensuring they get the most out of our service.
  • Nurture: Building strong relationships is at the heart of what we do. You’ll create a learning environment where each child feels safe and valued, with member well-being and safeguarding at the forefront of all your interactions.

For this tutor role, we are looking for a tutor who can step into additional key responsibilities supporting the centre when the manager is away. These include:

  • Acting as a main contact for parents, confidently answering any queries, solving problems and ensuring smooth centre operations.
  • Leading and inspiring peers as a role model for excellence in tutoring.
  • Safeguarding members and staff and handling keyholder duties like opening and closing the centre.

What’s in it for you?

  • Professional Growth: Comprehensive training, including First Aid training and certification, plus ongoing development in a collaborative environment.
  • Focused Teaching: With our smart learning tool and key resources provided, your energy stays on impactful teaching – not lesson planning.
  • Community: Work alongside passionate educators dedicated to making a difference.
