We are seeking a high-impact, commercially driven interim marketing leader to take full ownership of our marketing strategy and performance at a pivotal stage of growth. This role requires a proven operator who can quickly assess the current landscape, set clear direction, and deliver measurable improvements in acquisition, retention, and revenue.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive team, you will lead a multi-disciplinary marketing function spanning Brand, Digital, and CRM. You will balance strategic clarity with hands-on execution, strengthening performance foundations, optimising investment across channels, and embedding a rigorous, data-led culture that accelerates growth.

This is a role for an experienced interim who thrives in fast-paced environments and is motivated by driving tangible commercial impact within short timeframes.

The Role

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Alignment: Own and execute the marketing strategy that delivers acquisition, retention, and revenue targets aligned to business goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a 10-person team across Brand, Digital, and CRM to ensure clear accountability and high-performance delivery.
  • Performance & Budget: Manage the marketing budget and channel mix to maximise impact, improve CPA/CAC, and dynamically reallocate spend based on results.
  • Data & Analytics: Lead robust performance tracking, forecasting, and insight frameworks to drive evidence-based decisions and continuous optimisation.
  • Digital & CRO: Drive the website roadmap and partner with Product/UX to drive traffic growth, conversion improvement, and journey optimisation.
  • Growth & Testing: Identify and scale new growth opportunities through disciplined test-and-learn frameworks.
  • Executive Reporting: Provide clear, data-driven performance reporting and forward forecasts to the CEO and Board.
  • Cross-Functional Delivery: Partner with Operations and Commercial teams to ensure strong activation and execution in-market.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced Interim Leader: Proven track record of stepping into senior marketing roles, quickly diagnosing issues, setting direction, and delivering impact within short timeframes.
  • Leadership: Experienced leading multi-disciplinary teams and communicating credibly with CEO and Execs.
  • Proven Growth Leader: Demonstrable success driving measurable acquisition, retention, and marketing efficiency improvements.
  • Digital Analytics Expertise: Advanced working knowledge of digital analytics tools (e.g. GA4), attribution models, and performance reporting frameworks.
  • Commercial & Data-Driven: Strong grasp of unit economics (CAC/LTV), forecasting, and performance optimisation.
  • Hands-On Operator: Combines strategic clarity with the ability to drive execution at pace and hold teams accountable.

Focus Areas

Support near-term trading and growth: Clear priorities, sharp offers, using data and insight to focus effort and speed up decision making.

Refine and execute Q2 and Q3 marketing plans: Align the team and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve July and September campaign goals

Execute the revised value proposition and Explore Learning App GTM: Support the team to turn the proposition into clear messages and execute across all channels
